El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant

Ordered a cheese quesadilla, two cheese enchiladas, and a lemonade. The enchilada sauce genuinely tasted like Spaghetti-O sauce, the lemonade was watery, and the cheese in the quesadilla wasn't even melted--it was just warm and kind of wet. I wouldn't have even bothered to leave a review if not for the fact that I also got food poisoning from this mediocre meal. I didn't even order meat. I don't understand how you can manage to give someone food poisoning with a vegetarian order. Vomiting and some of the worst pain I've experienced in my life. Unacceptable.

I DON'T RECOMMEND. I ordered a Chile Verde burrito. For whatever reason, the beans and rice were inside the burrito. There was no Verde sauce to be found inside or on top of the burrito. It had a very thin coat of queso on top. The beans, rice and pork were not seasoned so they were quite bland. Where was the green sauce? I don't eat out often. When I do, I want it to be a treat; not a disappointment. I could have gone to Panchos drive through right down the street and gotten something better for half the price. I don't see myself going back.

A good place for a nice relaxing, quiet meal. The food very good and priced fairly. Won't hesitate to go back.
