Motel 6 Hays

This was my first time in the Hays area and I absolutely loved this little town! Everyone was extremely polite and respectful and there are plenty of food options with a 2 minute drive from the motel. The front desk lady was extremely sweet and very hospitable. My room was extremely clean and very cozy and the heater got extra hot which was a huge plus! I was not bothered by house cleaning early in the morning which was a pleasant surprise. If you ever find yourself in Hays and need an affordable, nice motel for the night than this is the place for you. I highly recommend and will be using motel 6 more often in my travels!

The room was clean but that was the only thing good about it. The bathroom sink is filled with cracks, the walls & trim are either falling apart or roughly fixed. The T.V. was snowy on all channels. The mattress was thin and I felt all the springs, plus the sheets were a bit rough. The carpeting was also stained. I barely slept, but nodded off at 6 a.m. only to be awoken at 6:45 by an industrial sounding vacuum cleaner in the room next door. Seriously?
