Great Bend Floral & Gifts, LLC

I called Great Bend Floral and Gifts and spoke to the manager, I explained I needed some flowers and a casket spray for my mom's funeral. I explained what I wanted and that the funeral would be held at 9:00 am. The manager agreed that she would have the flowers delivered before the service and ask me if she could deliver them in the morning because the flowers would be fresh. We all agreed as long as they would be their by 9:00am, she said she would come in early to take care of it. We decided on the arrangement and made the purchase. My wife and I arrived at the funeral home at 9:00 am to greet family and friends. The funeral home explained to me the arraignments for the casket have not arrived yet. I called Great Bend Floral and gifts and they explained to me she wasn't finished with the arraignment yet. I got upset and she said she would have them to the funeral home in fifteen minuets. approx. an hour late after most everyone had arrived and said their goodbyes the casket spray and standing spray arrived. I was upset and embarrassed for my mom and our family. I don't understand why they would not deliver on time to a funeral, The arraignment was nice but very late. Later I called the store and spoke to the manager to share with her my disappointment in the timing. She showed no compassion at all, I explained to her people are already going through pain and morning during a funeral and that is not the time to be late with arraignments. she responded with she was the best floral designer in town and she thought the flowers were beautiful. I agreed they were nice but what about the tardiness. I tried to explain to her if she would have told me she couldn't deliver on time like the other two florist did that morning I would have chosen a different florist. I also explained to her that one of the other florist was even a grocery store. I ask her how she would feel if it were her mothers funeral and she said "I work in this business and I understand you are at the mercy of the florist" she still had no compassion, she did however say she was going to pass it along to the store owner and she would call me back. When Jana the owner,returned she would have her call me. She called me and left me a message that had no more compassion than her manager.

Hands down the flowers are beautiful!!! The Ladies their were so nice and wonderful to work with they were super wonderful answered all my questions I had.. Even went out of their way to walk me back to their cooler and showed me all the wonderful fresh flowers they had in stock.. Kim was the manager she was so wonderful to work with she was a huge help and in general a sweet lady.. Their work is BEAUTIFUL and the prices are great!! They made sure my sisters' funeral flowers were done they had all the pieces I ordered their for the viewing the day before the service.. The pieces were so beautiful and lovely we got so many people tell us how lovely everything was!!! I loved the way they brought the flowers the day of the viewing so that way my sister's flowers would stay fresh for her actual service which everyone attends...I used this flower shop for a reason their work is wonderful and the customer service is always over and bond their duties been using them for 4 years and I will continue to keep using these ladies!!! Hands Down the Best at what they do!!!!!!!
