Montross Pharmacy/Gift Shop/Fountain

When it comes to the pharmacy and the shopping experience, this place is a total 5/5 stars! When it comes to the food from the Fountain, it's also 5/5 stars. The reason I can't give this place a 5/5 star review though is that it seems like the older women who run the Fountain have an attitude problem, and it's pretty consistent. Wish they could fix that up because otherwise it's a stellar place and I eat there often.

Well, we arrived Early To scope out the menu and decided we would eat there. We shopped a bit more and arrived at 1230. There are tables and chairs, but being from out of town, Wisconsin, we wanted to eat at the lunch counter. We were greeted with a demand that we sit at a table and chairs, because the spot on the counter needed to be sanitized and it would take a "long time" to dry..... Would have been better to.say, we have to sanitize this space. Would you want to shop a few minutes or sit at a table and we get your drinks until it dries? It's really all about customer service. WE ATE ELSEWHERE.

Some of the most disrespectful and judgemental people I've ever met. For one they yelled at someone who was puking in the alley way instead of making sure they were okay they made sure to let the person know they were disgusting. Honestly the higher up people in montross just feel like they are obligated to anything. Customer service wise they are definitely not even worth 1 star. Understand that other people feelings matter, just take the courtesy to be nice and not judgemental jerks.

We are traveling from Oregon to the New England states. We were staying at the KOA in West Des Moines. My wife fell when our dog pulled her down while confronting another dog that was approaching in an unfriendly manner. We ended up in the Madison County hospital emergency room and after finding out that nothing major was wrong or damaged. We were headed back to the campground and I noticed the lights wre on in Montross pharmacy. I took the chance they were still open and they were not, however a young lady and gentleman were counting out their tills. I told them our situation and need for a knee brace and cane. They were awesome and unlocked the door, selling me what we needed. You don't get enough of this kind of service and concern anymore. Montross Pharmacy and their employees ROCK. Dave Matthiesen
