        I use to work at menards in marion and I can tell you this , that store has steadily declined since John left as manager . Screwed up deliveries . Getting 45 miles away and the item in my box was used and defective . Problems with some employees not knowing a damned thing or they play dumb just to get away . Communication skills seem to be lacking because they can be so slow to respond that you wonder if they even heard what you said . Lumber is so poor it can takes a hour to dig thru the firewood . Recently I called the electrical desk to see if they could eave 3 small items at the desk for my wife to pick up and I was informed that if they did it for me they would have to do it for everyone and it would throw off their inventory count . Walmart has better customer service . Sad to see the gradual decline .
