Jim did a complete custom makeover of the two front bucket seats of my 1989 Dodge Colt sedan in the summer of 2014. (See pictures below.) At Jim's suggestion we used multiple layers of foam padding to strike just the right balance between comfort and durability. Great job and service! Very customer-oriented, creative, artistic, and effective. Part of the original stitching worked a bit loose over the first month . . . I took it back and Jim re-did the stitching to make it right! He's definitely fair and stands behind his work. Jim is also very creative! At my request we added two other important features to my new seats along the way: lumbar support and seat heaters (very useful for Iowa winters!) Jim installed pump bulbs under each seat to inflate/deflate lumbar support as desired. He then hooked up the seat heaters to my electrical panel and installed a small custom control center for on/off and variable heat within easy reach. In addition, I trusted Jim with a multitude of smaller jobs for my car, including custom floor mats, tightening loose door panels and the like. He's got a knack for small fix-it jobs which you wouldn't necessarily want to trust to a mechanic. If you have an older car which you want to restore/preserve like I do, Jim is an invaluable resource! He's a real artisan and master of custom design and repair. I heartily recommend his services.
