MCI - Corporate Headquarters

I have just had an awful experience with your customer service department. I have spent 2 hours on the phone trying to resolve my 81-year-old mothers who suffers from dementia phone service. I have recently taken over paying her bills. I have financial power of attorney to do so. I have called 5 times 6 including corporate and 5 out of 6 times I have been disconnected on your end. The one time I did not get disconnected the agent kied to me and told me he could not pull up the account number associated with that phone number. I told him that was odd because the other 3 agents I spoke with were able to locate it. He then asked me what long distance number was called frequently from that phone number and account. so apparently he could locate it just lied about being able to . When i explained to him the situation with my mom he said he was going to call the billing phone number and was going to put me on hold. But he sent me right back to the menu and then I was disconnected again. I explained to him all I wanted to do was get the bill paid and to get her service reinstated and if he would not help me do that how am I supposed to be able to do that? Thatn is when he sent me to the main menu. I am really frustrated and as a Doctor that is in practice I do not have a lot of time to waste. The bottom line is whomever MCI has subcontracted to field the customer service calls sucks. They do not care about your customers. All I wanted to do was pay the amount due and reinstate the service. No one seems to care if she is a customer or not. I need someone to help me soon or I am just going to forget it and not pay the bill and get another company that wants the business.

*****IF I COULD GIVE 10 I WOULD***** I love my job!!!!!!!!!!! :) I have just barely got my feet wet with this company but..... The entire staff has been wonderful while I have had an unexpected death in the family recently and I personally had an illness and had to be on an extended leave of absence, supervisors checked in on me and went above and beyond giving me LOA abilities... It was nice to be made to feel missed and cared about in a work environment!!! I was extremely glad to return to happy smiling faces this a.m. Thank you MCI y'all are awesome!!! Tamara Eddings
