Evana I'm sorry for your experience. When it comes to endodontic emergencies the only person that can see and treat an emergency is the Endodontist. We can't triage cases with nurses or other doctors because there is only one specialist in the office trying to take care of his or her patients and also trying their best to get the emergency patients out of pain. Often times these are patients who haven't slept all night or were in the ER. We try our best to manage these emergencies and sometimes we run behind as we do our best to take care of everyone. In the best interest of the patients' and emergency patients' we do not announce that we are running late as we are tending to other emergencies but rather do our best to attend to each and every person and treat them as we would our own family. The office policy in regards to credit cards is similar to many offices and essentially all restaurants in the area and we are unable to make any exceptions. Any refunds are mailed out promptly within the week and we do not keep cash on hand as it does not make sense for the offices to have cash in the office as we do not have a safe /vault or means to store cash. I apologize for any inconvenience but please understand that we do our best to accommodate our patients and our goal is for them to be treated in the most professional manner possible.
