    If I could put negative stars, I would. I've had an open case for over 10 weeks... 10 WEEKS without a vehicle. This company refuses to call me back in a timely manner. Just for instance this week a 'supervisor' was to call me by the end of Tuesday. It's now Thursday still no call. Every claims person I talk to says something different. While the lady I'm dealing with is very nice, she's completely unresponsive half of the time and typically it takes 4 calls (at least) until one is returned. I truly hope no one EVER chooses this insurance, or has to deal with them. It's pitiful that I have to call multiple times a day 5 days a week for 10 plus weeks to get the run around each and every time.

    We had a house fire and our adjuster has not returned a single phone call in 24 days, nor have we been given any living allowance while we are displaced when multiple invoices have been submitted. The first thing I will do upon closure of this claim will be finding a new home owners insurance company.

    This insurance company is fighting a claim after one of their clients backed up into the side of my car. The other driver apologetically admitted 100% fault at the time of the incident, along with his wife who was riding with him. Now I have to get my insurance company involved and file a tort claim to get my deductible back. Very unfortunate for Grinnell Mutual as one my houses was insured by them... WAS. Update (07/28/2021): Progressive has recovered half of my deductible with the other half currently in arbitration, and the house that HAD Grinnell Mutual is now covered by Selective Ins Co. of SC
