Maxwell

After previously leaving a five star review (in part due to the fact they ran a promotion to leave one), it is necessary to come back and update the rest of the experience had with Maxwell. Specifically the move out process as they will go back on their word of hanging pictures and charge you for any punctures made as well as any clean up that would be made with a routine cleaning service at the end of the lease. A fine place to live but beware as you will more than likely be nickel and dime’d out of some of your deposit come lease end.

Definitely a great place to call home. It’s quiet, work orders get taken care of quickly and very well, and all the other tenants are friendly.

I have stayed here for over a year, Maxwell has beautiful interiors, neighbors are friendly, the location is great and skywalk access is the biggest perk especially in winters.

I moved to Des Moines from out of town and Maxwell instantly became home.The Maxwell employees security, maintenance crew, and leasing office staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful. The apartment itself was in tiptop shape and clean when I moved in and the common areas are always pristine! I absolutely love living at Maxwell. My only complaints are there isn't a work out room and the noise from the road gets a little loud during high traffic times.
