When I first moved into this apartment in feb of 2023 I had nothing. Like me and a bag of clothes. I was a homeless addict with serve hearing loss. Anyway, Kathy and Angela was a godsend. Kathy is landlord/building Manger here and Angela is a Service Coordinator. They both help with recommendations and services provided for each individual person who currently live in the apt. I was surprised because the services was so much better than living in des Moines and Chicago because of how the system works and failed.
I got all the furniture for free,, dishes,
house supplies and such, food pantry right across the street here. And Angela give u recommendations without jugement for people who struggle with addiction. Even if you still fall off the wagon. You can still keep in touch with with Angela and keep your private information confidential.
The town is so beautiful. And so close to downtown and the lake!
I highly recommend this apartment building. If you're looking for something that really need help with ur based on income of 30 percent. And much more. In a very safe quiet neighborhood.

This is not a home... I don't like it here... Not every apartment is the same as Lakeland I live in another hud apartment and don't get the same stuff as I did at Lakeland. Don't get into trouble and told lies by a manager and have a manager scare me into fear and she is giving me false information... They make up their own rules here... The management lies to you...
