    Jen has cancelled for no reason on several occasions, and then I saw her once. The services went well, and then she disappeared. She is highly unprofessional with the way she handles clients, and it smells like smoke in her house!!!!! If I could give - stars I would do so! Stay away!!!!!!!!

    Had appointment scheduled, Jen wasa no call no show and did not answer her phone, text, or Facebook message. Very unprofessional! I purchased a deal from Groupon and am hoping I can get a refund. Save yourself some time and money and pass on services with her.

    This review comes after many communication attempts with Jen and I am only posting this after Jen refused to answer my messages. Which is all to say that I wouldn’t be airing my grievances publicly if not for the fact that Jen’s distinct unprofessionalism gives me no other avenue. In scheduling my appointment with Jen, she cancelled twice on me before we could find a time that worked for her. She was unable to manage her schedule and keep her commitment to me as a client. When I got there on our third try at scheduling, she smelled like cigarette smoke. During the course of the eyelash extension appointment, Jen got a lot of glue in my eyes and I was in horrible pain - my whole face was puffy and I was unable to open my eyes. Tears streamed down my face as my eyes struggled to wash away the glue. It was a true disaster. I left red and puffy and with tear stains all over my shirt. I’ve never before felt so much regret - it was obvious Jen had no idea how to apply eyelashes without causing me, her client, immense pain. It was a miserable experience and Jen knew it as she texted me the next day to see if it was any better/improved (since she left me with eyes that could barely open and hightailed it out of the salon after finishing application). There was SO much glue in my eyes, it was an awful application. The worst part of this is Jen kept insisting it was just my eyes’ reaction to the fumes but when I looked in her hand mirror in her salon I had to point out to her the gobs of glue that were clearly the culprits for the pain, discomfort, tears and oh yes, he fact that my eyelids were GLUED TOGETHER. When Jen did text me that next morning I mentioned that I was feeling better but that I was unhappy with the clumsiness of the lashes - again, way too much glue. No response from her. One week goes by and I text Jen to say that I’d like to schedule a removal - I was so sick of the clumps that I just wanted to be done with it. She suggested a lash separation instead. I said that would be fine, and then she stopped responding. Again. Nothing was ever remedied. One week later, I texted her to insist we schedule a removal and she did not respond. I waited a day and sent another message and she responded but we were not able to come up with a time to schedule a removal. By this time, it was clear I’d have to go to another salon to have them removed because Jen was nothing but non responsive, irresponsible and just plain bad at her job. I requested a refund for the initial payment as it was a nightmare from start to finish and she was never able to remove the lashes as was included in the initial fee. Jen has stopped responding to my messages and has not issued a refund. I had to go to another salon and pay for a refund - the other salon was horrified to hear of Jen’s unprofessional behavior and skills. I will report Jen’s Got Moxie to the Better Business Bureau next but I advise all to stay far away.
