Motor inn was great to work with. I was in search of a new daily driver for a good price and I found exactly what I was looking for at motor inn in Carroll. Sam was a very professional salesman who was a dream to work with. Looking for any new or used vehicle, call in and ask for Sam.

I bought a 2014 Toyota Prius here a couple months back.
Within 400 miles of purchasing, a check engine light came on. I put my reader in the vehicle and got the code. After informing the salesman of the situation, he said it was a common issue with this year and all I needed to do was replace the gas cap.
After replacing the old gas cap with a brand new one, I was still left with the check engine light on and some even more worry some issues - revving up when idling and shaking.
I texted the salesman back once more to let him know his fix didnt 3work. I did not receive a response.
I understand that when buying a used vehicle it is as is. However, I find it a little odd that WITHIN 400 miles off the lot I am left with roughly a $1,000 fix.
I truly hope they did not use their authority as a dealership to erase the code thinking it wasnt a big deal.
I hate leaving negative reviews, but am left with a bad taste in my mouth and no further communication with them.
Besides the above, I had talked with the salesman on over the phone and when asked if there was anything cosmetically wrong he replied no, other than maybe a few scratches and door dings. I found the door dings and scratches when I arrived and was still happy enough with the price point that I deemed the purchase still worth it.
After a 3 hour drive back and a few days worth of driving it and getting in and out, I noticed a portion of the side mirrors plastic casing was broken off, the drivers wheel well cover missing and the passengers wheel well cover broke. This bothers me mostly because of the fact that when youre a certified dealer Id assume some level of trustworthiness, which I was not given.
Overall, the cosmetic issues wouldnt have made me give a negative review, but everything piled together created a very poor experience for me.

Shopped around but Sam Spencer with Carrol Inn was beyond friendly and helped me find the exact make and model I was searching for. Better yet the price he got me was beyond all the other places I had searched. Definitely will use Sam Spencer with Carroll Inn again thank you!
