China Moon Restaurant

This place is not a bad place but I don't like the food at all, I noticed that the glasses were dirty as if poorly rinsed even with the detergent stuck to them and the accompanying sauces on the table looked like they were there years ago.

I wanted to try a different restaurant and China Moon had a decent rating so I thought I'd give it a try. I ordered for pick up and the food was ready quickly, so that was a plus. However, that did make me question if anything was made fresh. I ordered the orange chicken, cashew chicken, and vegetable egg rolls. The orange chicken smelled tangy but was not crispy and did not have as much flavor as I would have preferred. The cashew chicken was swimming in sauce and was very bland. The egg rolls were good and they even gave us an extra order of their regular egg rolls, which was nice. Both orders came with a side dish of rice, so I ordered one steamed rice and one fried rice option. The rice was a bit dry and the fried rice was mostly rice and not very much of anything else. I will agree with the other reviews that state that you get a decent amount of food for the price but I was not overly impressed and will try other options.

This is a regular place for us in Ankeny. Good people and excellent food. If you can dream it, they can make it. Recommend

So my wife got me some Mongolian beef it tasted off and I could not eat much of it and My stomach is upset. I will never go back there again bad food
