I ordered delivery from Okoboji Grill. One of the worst delivery experiences I've ever had. We got the anchor chicken sandwich and nachos. The chicken sandwich was one completely untoasted piece of bread not cut in half on the bottom, and then a partially toasted piece of bread cut in half on top with cold chicken and cold cheese sauce with cold french fries. I had included special instructions with the nachos to have the chips in a separate container, because I didn't want soggy chips. I don't think that is unreasonable, especially since I tip well, and I'm not some drunk jerk. The delivery driver made a snarky comment to me about it when he delivered it, and the nachos were also cold. The only thing that was actually warm was the spinach artichoke dip we got as an appetizer, and that was okay. As a food service worker myself, I would be embarrassed to serve someone food like this. Absolutely not worth the ridiculous $32.24 I paid for the order. They will never be getting my business again.

I typically don't give reviews unless it's one of the worst or one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant. This Is by far the worst I've ever had for my first time trying Okoboji. As I went in, I thought it was going to be a good experience because it seemed like they had everything together. I soon figured out they didn't.. I ordered onion rings as an appetizer, which was more grease than onion rings. I understand that it is a fried food, however it was not acceptable, and it seemed like they poured grease on top of the onion rings before delivering them to me. I ate two and left the rest. My waitress didn't once ask if I liked them or not, I however did bring up the fact that they were very greasy. She just walked away, after I got my food for my entre (Pork tenderloin sandwich), the pork tenderloin was slimy and purple, which means it was not cooked right. I pushed it to the side and decided I was done eating. The server took $2 off the ticket but the problem was never corrected. After waiting for our ticket for 30 minutes, my room mate and I went to the greeter stand to flag down the manager. After I gave him my debit card, it took him another 20 minutes to get my ticket finalized so I could sign it. I honestly debated on just walking out because of the poor service. Worst experience ive ever had in regards to food, service, and management techniques.
