Una Bella Pizza Napoletana

Amy Pinkerton highly recommend us to try their pizza and I'm so glad we did. Our daughter loved seeing the pizza go into the brick oven. We will definitely be going back soon.

We came in with a large party on the night if the Weird Al concert. They might have assumed a lot of out-of-towners would come from a few minutes down the road, but they only had 2 people working. When our large party was seated there were were only two other tables of people. Many came in after us, but all were served before us. Half the menu was unavailable. We started audibly complaining after an hour and they began assuring us our second-choice food would be started soon. A third worker came in... but she just chatted with people. We barely had time to eat a slice before we had to leave for the concert. We had been there for 2 hours. When one of our group left an angry review on Facebook l, someone from the restaurant claimed ALL those other tables had called in their orders before we ever came through the door. That seems like information they should have shared at the time, so we could go somewhere else if we needed to... but I imagine they hadn't made it up yet. On top of all that, the pizza was just OK.

The Una Bella specialty pizza was the best pizza I have ever had in a restaurant. The combination of flavors is not quite like anything else. Really good cheese. The peppadew peppers might not be everyone's thing, but after trying pizza with this unusual component, I wanted more. It tasted like I had eaten a pizza with toppings that had been gathered in a forest, but in the best possible sense. Perhaps the atmosphere of the room could be improved to feel a little more Italian, but the service was prompt and the wait for the pizza was not inordinately long for freshly prepared furnace-fired pizza. If you get enough of the unique pizzas, the toasted panini is quite satisfactory too.
