Received a referral to Better Home Service from a friend. His experience and my experience very different. A reminder companies attempt to take advantage of a woman vs a man. Dave was plumber that showed up. Never introduced himself not professional at all. Reeked of cigarette smoke, could not have allowed him in home long before becoming ill from smell. When I reasonably requested quote of proposed work on 'documented letter head' invoice, he kept stonewalling me and proposed 'giving me discount' by paying IN CASH (no checks accepted). He was persistent in pushing for 'replacement' vs repair. BIG red flag! Shame on repair men who attempt to take advantage of women. BEWARE ladies!! Do your research of potential reasonable costs.

Needed a clogged pipe cleared out, called Better Home Service and they sent a plumber out within 1 hr. He did a detailed inspection and got my water flowing again
