My first impressions on this hotel were great. The lobby is very nice, snacks and other necessities are in the right corner, and the breakfast/dining area is pleasant. But some of my critiques throughout my two night stay are that there is no hot tub or sauna, the shower settings are terrible, the sink is very weak, there is only one trash can inside the hotel, and the location is a bit rundown. The free breakfast I got in the morning is an occasional hotel breakfast, except for the fact that the biscuits were incredible. Although a bit small , the room was a good basic hotel room with a big TV and comfortable beds (Its also good to note that theres a Culvers right by the hotel).

My first time here at this hotel and I must say the receptionist is by far the rudest person I have ever encountered at IHE.
The receptionist ( blonde WW) got upset with me after providing her a copy of my reservations, ID, and tax exempt form for government workers. Please note, I do not book my hotel reservations, these are booked via travel consumer department.
She so rudely had me wait until she was able to read the 10 page email that clearly had ALL the info needed to check me in. She seemed so upset with me because someone didn't print out the paperwork and put it in the binder in the drawer.
Despite me trying to assist her with this process by reaching out to the department, she continued to slam things on the counter as if she was frustrated with me for someone else not not doing their job. The wait time was very unecessary considering I did speak with the CT department and they have booked government workers at this location, and so they should be familiar with the process.
Unfortunately, I reported this IHC to the department to avoid future bookings. as this is standard protocol when we experience any irrelevant dilemmas with check in or check out. Our jobs are already challenging, with long commutes only to have to deal with this once we are done for the day.
Its unfortunate that this lady was so rude to me, FOR NO REASON AT ALL, She said her name was Dana. I believe Dana need to be retrained on check in with government workers, she clearly was not familiar with the process, but instead of handling the situation in a professional manner, she deflected and blamed the customer.
Typical behavior of a person who has grown way too comfortable with her job.
