Great job on cleaning dryer vent...Joe used long brushes to clean vent. He also cleaned up any mess. What a difference in my dryers performance. Differently will call them back when it's time

Had J&S come out for a quote to apply heat shield for my fireplace. The employee was very stand-off-ish about using this product in the first place. He stated that they barely ever use this product because it does not last-bare in mind, I have done my research on it and it has great reviews and a lifetime warranty. My neighbor had it done 2 years ago for approximately $2800 through Albert the chimney sweep. Additionally, he never ran a camera up to even evaluate my chimney to see if I needed any additional work done or even to just look a the health of the chimney shaft. He said the quote would take a couple of days (had them out on a Friday). I thought that that was a reasonable time frame. After calling them multiple times, it took them 3 weeks to finally give me a quote on the job—to the tune of $5500. I, of course, turned them down immediately. A few things that make this an unprofessional company-don’t lie about products that can be used on a job, just to make more $, don’t tell me a couple days for a quote, and then turn around and take 3 weeks to give me a way overpriced amount (you wasted my time), don’t say you are a professional chimney company and don’t even evaluate my chimney shaft with a camera, and lastly, don’t try to rip off local consumers. Avoid this company like the plague. You are better off served with Safeway Chimney Sweeps based out of New Lennox. They were very reasonable on quote, and they gave me the price of a job in 10 mins. Office called and put me on the books 15 mins after the employee left the job.
