Avalon Village

My family and I toured this facility in hopes of finding a wonderful place for my mother. This place was so beyond wonderful from the cleanliness of the building to the interaction with the staff. The staff members were very nice, polite, kind and professional. The Admissions Director Desiree, was very knowledgeable in the information she provided to myself and my family and she made my family feel such at ease when it comes to finding the best care for my mother. We definitely look forward to making Avalon a home for my mother.

The Staff at Avalon in Ligonier are as far as I am concerned The Unsung Heroes of this World!! My Mother has been here with frontal lobe and mixed Advanced Dementia the past 5 months and as loving and kind as she was before she got sick she has to be one of the hardest cases Avalon has ever had as a Dementia patient with severe anxiety and anger outburst. I am stunned at their commitment and loyalty and love they are ll giving her in spite of her issues which is too many to write about here. From the kitchen staff to cleaning crew and aides and nurses and all admin staff ; they care for her with so much love and compassion . I have been visiting my Mom almost every 2nd week fo 3 -4 days at a time ll day for past 5 months and I am still amazed an stunned at Avalon's dedication and their tremendous sense of humor and love they are showing her and us as a family. I want to mention every staff member because they are ll amazing!! Mary and Rachel; Thank You for your dedication to Mom. YOU ARE LL A BLESSING to us as a family and Mom and Avalon you are a Blessing to Ligonier and your local Community !
