The Cedars

It saddens me read negative reviews about the Cedars. My husband was there for over two years and never did I feel he was neglected or treated poorly.

How is a facility "Christian based" when they are racists? There is actually a "White care givers only" message at the top of one patient's chart. That should not be supported by a facility! Racial comments by residents and some staff are routinely made, which residents have that right.. but good facilities discourage it.. and foster a non hate environment . They have a QMA do nursing duties and take report from the hospital.. perform assessments ..checking orders.. way outside the scope of their practice.. rather than have a second nurse! They Put travel workers on their "Do not return list" accusing them of verbal or physical abuse if any of this is complained about. They also allow illegal cameras in patient rooms that also record voice.. which is wire tapping.. but if you state a concern.. they blacklist you.

Staff is too small to be so dysfunctional. Lots of cronyism and theft. Like it or not, managers, that's ABUSE. Residents are forced to have cameras because the staff is untrustworthy. If you try to make suggestions or improvements, they'll find a way to get rid of you. It would be funny if it weren't so pathetic.

Please don't even think having your family at this place they just abuse them and the nurses dont really care they prefer drama more. Especially the nurses been there forever dont care only for themselves. I have worked there and the nurse did not even help me when i needed help for a resident. They abuse the workers so much bobbie huffman is not a good person at all they are not christian they are a liar.

I have worked there for 18+ years and some of these reviews are simply not true!!! We love our residents! They are our #1 priority! There is “drama” in every work place. We are Christian based but that doesn’t make us perfect! We DO NOT neglect our residents! We go above and beyond to make their stay a good one.
