    After repeatedly calling and being reassured that our dumpsters would be picked up that day, they repeatedly do not pick them up even paying for 5 days per week service for our apartment complex. Then, when the trash is inevitably overflowing from the apartment residents, they attempt to charge overflow fees while not offering any reimbursement options for the missed pickups. This has been going on for several months now, so I am confident that this is not a fluke experience. Hire elsewhere.

    HORRIBLE SERVICE! DO NOT RECOMMEND - FIND ANYONE ELSE! I took the time to write this as a warning for Republic's potential customers and current customers. We have been locked in a contract for years! At first, service was smooth, no issues. Then, we started having missed pick ups. After a couple, I called. The representatives sound nice. I got an apology, but had to request a credit to my bill, they did not offer one. After several missed pickups, I called to request to cancel services. They said that I would still have to pay for all the months that were still under contract! So,, we stayed with them. We continued having missed pickups. Then, our bill started increasing by a significant amount. I called to cancel our contract near the end. They said we couldn't because they needed 60 days notice! Again, we stayed. Our bill grew to $250 for the smallest dumpster, once a week pickup. We are a small restaurant that does not produce a lot of trash, but for sanitation and pest control, it is important to have it picked up at least once a week. When I called about our pricing which doubled over 6 years, they offered to reduce the number of pickups to reduce our cost. No. Not a suitable solution. I shopped around and their competitors are HALF THE PRICE! I had it with Republic. I called them about canceling once again. I explained my frustrations and the unethical pricing under contract. At this point, I was willing for them to sue me so we could go to court and have their unethical practices addressed. It took 6 WEEKS for them to accept that we were going to cancel. They asked me to send them a copy of one of our competitor quotes. I sent it. Their price was $126 for the same terms! So, Republic wanted to MATCH! WHAT!? If you COULD have reduced our charges, why didn't you? You have been charging a struggling small business double what you could have!? They sent a bill for March. I called them again and let them know we would pay that bill, but no more. I brought up the unethical practices. I finally got them to cancel the contract with no extra charges to us - I thought. We just received another bill for over $70. For what now!? I called and it was because there was an "overage." We don't produce much trash, so what is this about? Someone put a couch in our dumpster. It was not ours, we did not dispose of a couch in the dumpster. They said "that is why people put locks on their dumpters." Darlene (the rep) mentioned a picture. I requested that she send me the picture. She did. The owner had already paid the bill in good faith that we owed the money. When I saw the picture, it was NOT OUR DUMPSTER! We sincerely, feel like they have been robbing us. Seeing these other reviews, looks like they are robbing others too! I am so mad about this entire situation. It has wasted a lot of our time and money. We need a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM.

    Have used them in Lafayette IN for around two years now. They constantly pick up 1-3 days late, leaving you with overflowing trash. But the best part is that they rarely, if ever, send you a vague and useless email that says your service is delayed (seemingly completely random as they have picked up on days where they said they can't). On top of this, they continue to raise rates. Take your business elsewhere.

    Conning, inconsiderate, and most of all misleading. You're given "flex " time which is paid time off for WHATEVER you need it to be. I got covid my 2nd week there after leaving a great full time position to be here and I was let go calling in my 2nd day. As I thought it was considerable to make sure I wasn't getting other employees sick as well. Now I'm left jobless when I came there with a job. The management here is a joke as they didn't warn me or talk to me I was just let go out of nowhere. I would highly recommend to not waste your time as I apparently did thinking I was going to work for another great company but you're lied to just to get another body in the door.

    Have been happy with services performed overall. Only problem is the price changes constantly. I have to call every couple of months and have my bill adjusted to match the price of my contract. Customer service & sales people are great, but its an inexplicably dumb inconvenience to go through this process so often. It also seems like fraud.

I took the time to write this as a warning for Republic's potential customers and current customers.
We have been locked in a contract for years! At first, service was smooth, no issues. Then, we started having missed pick ups. After a couple, I called. The representatives sound nice.
