First of all this review is NOT for the cardiologist but their staff, an my personal experience today! This is for the girl at the front desk at unfortunately I didn't get your name. First of all you never know what your patients are going threw so being a decent person is what I expected! However, I called to see if I could take my heart rate meds w/another blood pressure medication due to tachardia with severe anxiety I've had since I was 4 I was having a bad day and feeling nervous and was out of my faster acting meds so I was going to take my other blood pressure med but I had already taken my heart rate pil. I was put on hold and then left a message I was right on tenth Street so I just stepped in office. I was off talked to like I was a burden to your day and asked "wasn't you just calling" (in a rude tone). You went back to ask the nurse and I was in the waiting room for around 5 minutes when you came back out you yelled my name pretty loudly in a rude voice again but what you don't know is I have PTSD from a childhood experience and military and I jumped as if I already didn't have enough anxiety on me I have a starter reflux and it really bothered me the tone that you used. You informed me that I was going to have to wait and it was going to be a while which I don't understand because of the the simple question can I take my blood pressure medicine after I took my heart rate pill. Also the baby that was with me is my son who the year old has cerebral palsy he is blind and I've had a lot of stress dealing with one of his test that just came back not to mention he just celebrated his first birthday and didn't know that I was singing to him nor did he eat his first birthday cake. I was having anxiety and depression and when I mentioned that I hadn't had my Ativan it was if I was some drug seeker by the way not everyone that claims to have anxiety does but for the ones that do and have it so severe that they're at a cardiologist I would say it's pretty bad. I think it was very uncalled for the way I was talk to you like an idiot for someone that has served this country and you know nothing about me. I will never be back to this office again you should really in the future try and understand that you never know what one of your patients is thinking or feeling so it is very important to treat everyone with respect
