        Decent pizza in the fletcher place/fountain square area. Deep dish is good but don't expect Chicago style.

        I went to this place specifically to try their deep dish. It was underwhelming. The sauce was very thin tasting, the crust was bland, and the cheese and toppings couldn't make up for it. The atmosphere of a neighborhood pizzeria was nice and the staff was quick and friendly.

        Virginia Avenue Pizza Company is in the same location as the (now defunct) South of Chicago. The menu is similar, but improved, as is the interior. Highly recommend!
