I want to thanks the entire team for their hospitality. I had an amazing experience before and after my surgery, the positive energy of the team is amazing thank you so much from my heart. Keep doing the great job you guys doing in this moment of chaos. Soon everything will be fine. Thank you so much. You guys are true heroes. From the doctors to the nurses thank you so much. Surgery is never pleasant and coming out of general anesthesia isnt easy for everyone however, that is not the fault of the amazing staff here in my case. The registration Dept (I feel awful I didnt get your name but youre absolutely lovely) and the assessment nurse (Lisa) were so friendly and easy going to me and my family. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Cunningham was incredibly personable and funny (not a finga lol)! Dr. Pease, my surgeon, was very reassuring. I remember her resting her gloved hand over my arm to let me know she was there and that Id be ok. Shes amazing at what she does. They explained everything in detail what was going to happen and possible reactions I might have to both me and my family. Medical care should be a family approach and thats exactly how they treated it. The OR staff (Mary, Raven, Linda, Leslye, Madison, Tina) had a great sense of humor and sense of teamwork, I felt completely safe in their hands. From what I can recall of my post-op experience, it was physically very unpleasant (some of which was my own fault being a smoker) but the nurses were fabulous. I dont know how they manage to wade through the incoherent ramblings of multiple patients with such understanding and patience but they are great at it! They see you at your weakest, most vulnerable state, a lot of which you cant remember, but they are truly professionals. To my post-op nurses, I dont remember much of what I said, at some point I think I may have cried but you all impressed the heck out of my husband with how everything was handled. Im not looking forward to the bill, but stellar healthcare where youre treated like a person and not a number is totally worth it. My sincerest thanks to everyone who was on my team yesterday!
