        After having a horrible extraction experience with a different oral surgeon I was referred to Dr. Van Winkle for another extraction and implant. He has completely restored my faith that an extraction (and implant) can be done with minimal discomfort. From the time when I first walked in to the time I left I felt comfortable with the process, everything was clearly explained, and any questions were answered. Dr. Van Winkle takes his time and communicates well during the procedure. I just went back for another extraction earlier this week (unfortunately)!

        I had such a horrendous experience with the first periodontist that had treated me that I was very apprehensive to see another but Dr. Van Winkle and staff were wonderful and helped me relax. The treatment I had yesterday was an incredibly different experience and I am so grateful to Dr. Van Winkle and his professional, caring staff. I gave referral slips to my local dentist today and told him that he would be doing his patients a big favor to send them to see Dr. Van Winkle.
