I went to inquire about classes. I was stopped by off duty law enforcement officer stopped me and told me I was trespassing because I walked across the parking lot to get to the front door. He demanded my ID and advised he put me on a list and I'd be arrested if I was caught on the property again. I wish there was an option for no stars.

The Chefs Academy is a great place to attend. I have told so many friends and family about this school. I started TCA right after high school and they helped me figure everything out and get started on the right track. . They are very friendly and family oriented, they know each student as an individual and not just as another student. The small classes are great because the chefs can interact and a help each student individually in places they need. The Chefs Academy has so many options to volunteer at different events around Indianapolis. These events help get your name out. All the chefs have so many contacts and they can help you find a job, if you need it. This school has given me many opportunities to strive and be great at what I do. This school got me to where I am today. They got me to be apart of the magic at Walt Disney World for my externship. This has let me learn so much more and meet so many great people all over the world. This school is the place to go and I highly recommend it.

Be prepared to spend about 50K on a degree from TCA. They have teachers that have sex and drink w/students. Teachers want to teach you how they prefer things to be done, so every term you will get grilled about who taught you what and why you do it that way (even though you were taught that way by previous instructors.) They offer old equipment, not enough equipment or food to use during practicals and focus on things that you will not use in the industry. History is good, however, when spending that kind of money - I want to be taught things I can use NOW. Admissions will tell you anything you get you in the door - classes nights, weekends, afternoons, days - its BS. You better start in one track (days only) and remain there. You really can't switch classes once you start or its screws you up. They will say online classes but there are only 3. Or whatever caters to their needs to make the most money for that term. They will take away class offerings and then act like its your problem not theirs. They accept anyone here - don't let them fool you. Be prepared for yelling cursing students that have zero maturity and dont really care about their education. That's just how it is. Credits do not transfer - so you are stuck once you start!
