I used Garrison/Sims in the second half of 2017 for support of a potential (out-of-state) transaction. Tim was my primary contact at the firm. I would refer this firm to anyone due to the following attributes: +Issue identification - While at first glance this was a simple business from a complexity perspective, Tim identified key issues for accounting/tax treatment that would arise from form of purchase consideration, business operations, and special considerations based on this deal +Efficiency - He focused on the core issues of the deal, completed the tasks in a timely manner, was quick to return inquiries, and the total hours billed was reasonable +Interaction with the seller - Tim received complements from his direct interactions with the seller and their consultants both from content and business professionalism. +Business acumen - He has the ability to opine on the type of business (and issues associated with) based on historical experience over/above the core financial substance of the due diligence. This firm would be my first (and only) call if I would need this type of service in the future. Unasked, I volunteered to serve as a reference for the firm.

Tim does a terrific job. Always very exact and quick with all requests. Beyond account and keeping the books, he proactively advises based on the needs of the business and tax consequences.
