EMAS

You have a male driver and female crew member showing up to facilities smelling like pot. Eyes bloodshot, speech slow. They are rough with their patients and have horrible attitudes, with staff members and the patients alike. They are late to pick ups and respond as if it is the facility fault. The truck smells like marijuana and cigarettes. Isn't there oxygen on board? How is that safe. Please drug test your staff. Staff names is Andy, and Jill that we have dealt with. Horrible crew.

One of their ambulance drivers hit my car while trying to turn left onto a street. Director is unwilling to answer my calls to discuss this issue to get my car fixed. The driver was smoking a cigarette inside the ambulance at the time of the crash.

Bed bugs, expired drugs, trucks that smoke and break down, dispatchers that will tell you they around the corner when they are indeed an hour away. Trucks will break, such as a radiator hose breaking, and dispatchers will tell the crews to put radiator fluid in it again and go get the patient. Then as you're driving down the road your ambulance will start to smoke You will have to pull over and call another ambulance. They like to mention how they have been around for 35 years , but so has star, and so has seals. Those two won't provide a dangerous environment as I observed emas did with other patients. I am disgusted and ashamed that this is even a service.
