JD's has the best burgers around! The Rise and Shine is a must try, the Memphis burger is another great one! The Shakes are amazing and you cannot go wrong with the chips and fries, since they are hand made!!!! Love them, it's my childhood place, and now my kids child hood place! Sadly they are shutting down after this month, unless they can find a new place, so if you want to try JD's I would say go do that today! Make it a Jim Dandy day!!!!! :)

would love to eat here more..........BUT, $31 dollars for 2 burgers 2 fries, 1 o ring and 2 shakes is a bit much.

Been there before and enjoyed the food. Good burgers and fries with an old diner feel. We went to try it again last month and asked about allergen information since our 2.5 yr old daughter is allergic to various foods. First, we asked the server and she seemed to think a burger and fries was "safe." I didn't get a good feeling by the way she said, so I asked her to double check. Then an older guy (assuming a manager/cook) came to the table to talk. He was very defensive and unwilling to work with us. Never had an experience like this anywhere and we go out to eat a lot. We ended up walking out while he went on a health related tangent. Which is funny having a restaurant located across the street from a hospital. Would recommend the restaurant as long you aren't allergic to anything!! If you are, stay far far away...
