Rivers Relaxation

Was all set to drive to Indianapolis to do a float when I was referred to Rivers Relaxation right in my own backyard. WOW is all I can say. I felt more relaxed and flexible immediately. For a girl who likes to pamper herself , the amenities and benefits for price are almost unbelievable with an outstanding staff who are knowledge, friendly and wiling to take the time to take you through your journey. Cannot recommend enough. So happy to have a place like this in town.

The salt float is incredibly relaxing. I don't float well in the ocean but had no trouble. They are very good at explaining what to expect during your visit. I've only been once but think a second trip is necessary. It took a while to get acclimated, I think trip 2 will be much more relaxing.

I have very fragile hair so I should have known better than to sit in a salt bath for an hour further drying it out. DO NOT use their conditioner bring your own!! They chose the cheapest out there, probably V05 that made my hair worse after the session. It also smells. The shower is in the same room as the salt pod seperated by a plastic shower curtain so while the pod is sanitizing and refilling and you are taking a shower you still have a thin film of salt on your body. Also trying to get dressed in a humid salty room is not enjoyable. Remember to bring your own hair dryer, cause again, cheapest hair dryer they could find with only a hot setting to further fry your hair. Its not for me, nothing about the experience was relaxing so I wont be back. Make sure you chose a good sound cause you cant change it and may get stuck with a sound you hate that sounds like bulldozers and airplanes flying by.

A way better experience from the original location. They have done a great job creating their own brand and taking off with it. If you're thinking about trying it, please do. It is not gor everyone but it has been extremely helpful to me.
