The OG place, hole-in-the-wall charm, great Cuban sandwiches, tamales, and soups. Don't overlook the soups, they're delicious. Update: RIP Caliente. Now they're an upscale expensive restaurant downtown. I'm sure it's delicious, but we miss old Caliente

This is one of my favorite places. The family that owns this place is so friendly, and I always forget that I'm in Fort Wayne when I eat here. I take a mental trip back to living in South Florida. Their Cubans are bomb.

The reviews speak for themselves! We can't wait to share this place with family and friends who come to visit. We've been going here at least twice a month for over a year. Owners are very friendly and always courteous and the food always delicious. Tropicuban is my favorite sandwich, but love the soup, fried rice, and bread pudding! Seating can be very tight if you go right at noon. I suggest coming a bit earlier or after 12p.
