Parrett's Meat Processing & Catering

Repeat customer, would not recommend again. -Upon calling to inquire on the status, we were met the news that I was going to owe storage fees almost as much as the Beef itself. Stated that they called me once per month for past 3 months. When it as mentioned that I didn't receive a call, he loudly raised his voice while letting me know what number they called. Cell phone records show no inbound call from Parrett's and no voicemail was left. When I stated this, the response changed to "what took you so long to call?" Since my order was not urgent, I assumed it might take a few months to process. When we learned the order was ready for pickup, we made arrangements to pickup within the same week. I would have done the same 3 months ago if I knew the order was ready. -I don't have anything signed alerting me that storage fees will be applied to my order and what the storage rates even are. No mention of storage fees on the websites. -My only option was to accept "splitting the storage fees" with Parrett's; which meant I paid $576.04 in storage + processing fees for two 1/4 Beef orders after splitting costs with Parrett's. Craig did let me know that he was being generous in this offer, but it was an ultimatum, not generosity or customer service. My only other option was to decline the beef order, but then I would have lost my money on the Beef purchased from another local family that was brought here for processing. I chose this business because they do a fantastic job of making great cuts, fantastic packaging, and it's locally family owned. I'm disappointed that I was forced to make a choice to pay storage fees that I didn't know existed, but more importantly, that I did know my order had been ready for pickup for 3 months. Their response and behavior would make sense to me if I had told them at drop off that I need them to store it for a few months, but this was not the case. I don't feel like I should be forced to accept storage fees for an item I did not know was complete and being stored, but I was left without a choice. If you do take your business here, consider your communication methods so that you don't end up in a no win situation like I did. I won't return.

Awesome fellow helped us order how we wanted our beef cut!! Meat for sale looked great-can't wait to get ours!!

Fresh cuts of meat and loved the way Parrett’s packed the meats. Every cut was delicious and worth it we saved a lot of money thanks to Parrett’s. Will definitely get a quarter of Cow and Pig again.

Over the decades I have had many a beef and hog butchered. Parrett's is the best. They vaccum pack the meat.
