    Metronet busted through my water and sewer pipes in June 2015 when they bored their fiber optic cable. I did not request them to come onto my property but they didn't need my permission since the city gave it to them. They don't, however, have permission to bust through sewer and water pipes and not take responsibility for the damages. In June 2015, I came home to my downstairs flooded with sewage after Metronet bored fiber optic cable through my pipes. That same day they busted my water line as well but that remained a secret (by them) until Jan 2024 when I found out about it cause the water line they secretly repaired busted open and caused me to have outrageous water and sewer bills. Got the water company and plumber out to see what was going on. The Leak Detection company couldn't come out until Feb 6, 2024 and they located the leak which was in the straight path that Metronet had also bored thru the sewer. Peterman Brothers plumbing used a Hydrovac to carefully wash away dirt and grass and vacuum it all out cleanly. Hydrovac is expensive but needed for excavation when around gas/sewer/water/power lines and expecially if you need to take clean and clear photos/videos. When they reached the leak there was the Metronet fiber optic cables and my water line spewing tons of water right on top of the Metronet cables. Peterman discovered that Metronet had bored thru the water line and then "repaired" the line with "shark bite fittings" to piece the line back together. Peterman said that shark bite fittings are not the proper materials to repair an underground main water line and those fittings had busted open. They said I had a 0.3gal water leak per MINUTE which is 18gal of water PER HOUR. I had extremely high water bills December 2023 to February 2024 due to the massive underground water leak. I am furious that Metronet never told me they hit the water line. Let's not forget they also hit the sewer pipe but couldn't run away from that because sewage backed up into my downstairs and caused much damage. State Farm paid for the in-home damages and they had to send Metronet to collections to get repaid. Metronet had some people come out and replace my broken sewer back in 2015. However, it wasn't until Feb 6, 2024 that we discovered that the water line had also been hit after the leak detection found out where the leak was coming from. I had to take out a massive loan in Feb 2024 to get the water line repaired. That secret repair job Metronet did would have probably forever gone unnoticed except that the shark bite fittings they used came apart from the water line and caused a massive water leak. I have called Metronet 3 times since Jan 2024 and have never received any call backs. I even got a Construction issue Ticket # in late Jan 2024 and STILL have gotten 0 call backs. I even mailed an expensive CERTIFIED Priority Mailer to Metronet Corporate office in Evansville, IN 3/4/24 and I received confirmation that it was received on 3/6/24 and STILL they completely ignore me. I sent their Legal Dept a 5pg typed letter explaining the entire situation going back to Metronet hitting the sewer in 2015, several documents from the leak detection co showing where the water leak was found, invoices and statement from Peterman Bros. plumbing that Metronet hit the line and proof they tried repairing it but their repair had fully failed. Also sent them copies of my water and sewer bills, and tons of photos with labels on the back explaining each photo. But yet after all this they still REFUSE to contact me. Next step is legal action unless we can settle this out of court. I have no other choice.

    I would give zero stars if it was an option. Metronet claims to be reliable yet they are frequently down for entire days. No explanation or estimate of when it will be back up is ever offered.

    Unfortunately, my experience with Metronet's recent installation on my property was highly disappointing. The workers arrived unannounced and conducted the installation without proper notification, leading to significant property damage and inconveniences. The installation process left my backyard inaccessible due to gaping holes and craters, which posed a danger to my pets and disrupted our routine. Additionally, the damage to my fence has compromised its integrity, creating safety concerns. The lack of communication and consideration for property owners' rights during the installation process was concerning and resulted in significant inconveniences. I hope Metronet can improve its communication and procedures to ensure a more respectful and considerate approach in the future.

    I waited a long time to replace my cable TV internet connection because I thought they were too expensive. When Metronet arrived I signed up for it. I was promised my first month free of charge. (It never happened). After a little while I realized they were charging for tech fees, maintenance fees although no tech or maintenance is ever done. This is a recurrent non-stopping fee added every month. I usually dont leave my card in store for automatic payments becaude of fraud so I make payments over the internet or in person. My account was disconnected after 1 second of being past the due date. The fees, the late fees and the reconnection fees are the work of an extortionist, a ruthless not-caring person. I explained to them on multiple occasions about why I made my payments around due date and I learned that is a cut-throat business model (like banks who make their money on late fees), they do offer a decent internet service however their customer service seems to be better fitted for a towing service or bail bonds where customer have zero chances of being helped. I have reconsidered my decision and I will most likely go back to cable modem, it turns out now they both cost the same. Again, be aware, I dont recommend this company to anybody unless you have no choice. Theres more fish in the sea
