If I could give it 0 stars, I would. This place does not respect their posted business hours. As such, I can’t say anything about the food. Make sure you call to confirm they’re open before driving there. Don’t trust the hours posted on their own website. Their grocery store has both bad selection and prices.

Webiste doesnt state they are to go only and they dont answer the phone during work hours. In addition, i walked into the restaurant and recieved absolutely no response even though the bell goes off at the door. Just completely ignored.

The only authentic Japanese restaurant around. Delicious food and the waitress do an awesome job too!

A hopelessly americanized Japanese restaurant catering to non- Japanese patrons who are clueless anyways. When I walked in the maitre de was verbally motioning me to the sushi bar. Americans think that sushi is a major part of the Japanese diet. It is not. I sat at a small table in the dining area ordered char shu ramen. I could tell that they did not prepare it correctly as the noodles were not separated properly (they were still stuck together in a clump) and as a result were not cooked correctly and even still cold in spots. If you live in Evansville and go to eat there, I guess you'd better stick to getting your sushi only, which isn't even Japanese style sushi. If you want authentic Japanese food, I guess you'd better go to St. Louis or Chicago or to California. Thumbs down....
