I received many quotes for replacement and install of a new wood privacy fence. All-Pro fences price was close to all other quotes I did receive. I had All-Pro Fence replace an old 4' chain link fence on one side of my backyard. I kept the existing fence poles and had them paint it. Also, I had them make some adjustments to a 4' chain link gate in the backyard and paint that, too. Gary and his crew were very nice, professional, and overall did a good job. I enjoyed some good conversations with Gary and his crew, too. Pricing was fair and reasonable and my belief was hard to beat. Although, I never got other quotes. They had to trim some Rose of Sharon bushes back to install the new chain link fence and placed the trimmings in a neat pile for me to discard. The new chain link fence sticks up a few inches above the fence rail (a little higher/lower in some spots) which was explained to me the original posts have sunken some. Either, new posts would have to be installed, trim some chain link away to accommodate height with top rail and poles, or dig away some ground below to push chain link fencing into the ground. Most of this was explained to me, but I am fine with this little extra height, and overall it's a great fence. Better than the old for sure! I've had to do some grass cutting and mulching some leaves with my mower to continuously find those aluminum fence ties on the ground. I have found pieces of old fence ties and a pile of 10 or so of new fence ties. I've raked my yard carefully before mowing the second time and still more of these reappear everytime I mow. It doesn't sound too good when you run over one of these fence ties with a mower. I'm sure my blade will need replaced by next Summer. I mention these fence ties to other customers to be careful as these can be dangerous when mowing and can project out from underneath the mower. Tried to charge me for more fence than I actually needed but also wanted me to pay extra saying they didnt measure correctly the first time. When I confronted them they packed up all the lumber and left without telling me what was going on. Once they contacted me they said they had plenty of business in our area and did t need mine if I was going to question them. Then took almost 2 weeks to refund my deposit. Many similar experiences have been shared in our neighborhood
