My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March 2020. She passed just a few months ago. We have been married 44 years and it has taken me a while to write about our experience. Dr. Hayak, Sherry and all of the nursing staff at the Sue Ann Wortman Center were so kind and supportive throughout Brenda's battle and were available to us 24 hours a day. They became like family. No doctor could possibly be any more honest, sincere, caring and devoted to his patients. There was never a doubt that she was receiving the best care possible. I think we had several months to love and cherish each other that we otherwise would not have had thanks to Dr. Hayak and his group of angels.

My partner entered Dr Hayek care in mid november. He gave her chemo treatments knowing she was not eating. we asked for a feeding tube as she could not swallow any liquid or food. She finally got a feeding tube after 6 weeks and she died. In my opinion Dr hayed helped to kill her.

Dr. Hayek has been my husband's oncologist during his battle with cancer. He really seems to care for his patients as people and. His direct approach to treatment coupled with his caring nature make him not only a great doctor but a fine person also.

Dr Hayek is thorough and cared about my overall health. He even went as far to schedule other needed appointments for me, not related to hematology. I continue to see him every 6 months. Five Star Doctor
