I discontinued shopping here, will not miss it! - Used to buy $8 shirts here - they raised the price to $30 on the SAME shirts. (Same shirts $10 at other stores.) - Sales are NOT worth it - $40 for a winter sweater 'on sale' when I can go to other stores and buy $10 - $25 for a winter sweater on sale. - Associates did not hesitate to call their customers wrong. - Associates hardly present in their locations to provide customer service. - Avoided by associates when attempting to get help. - Could not try on clothing in fitting rooms because they were blocked off, and no associate was available to assist on multiple occasions. - Called a thief by an associate when I accidentally had an item that did not have a price tag on it, as I was buying in bulk; when confronted by the associate and I offered my side of the story, I was called a liar. (No purchases were made that day!) - Could not take photos of items to confirm gift-buying decisions without being followed and stopped by associates. (and my favorite) Being stopped and questioned by security for owning my own satchel bag! Being a woman, my satchel is important to me - I take it to and from work, as it is considered my 'work bag' as much as functioning as a purse. It contains a bottle of water, a bag of snacks, a reading book, a folder with writing papers, mechanical pencils, chapstick, a notebook, ink pens, and feminine products. So when my mother and I were heading to the register to check out clothing, a man rushed towards us and approached our cart, asking if the satchel bag was mine, and then asking about the bag itself; to which I replied that it was my work bag and that I have owned it for years. It made me feel afraid that he was either going to escort me out of the store for owning my own bag, or that he was going to detain me and demand to look inside of my bag, and as well, it made me feel angry that security was called in the first place. I never opened my satchel the whole time I was in the store - I removed it and put it in the shopping cart, then proceeded to push the cart while my mother went shopping. Yet everyone else in the store who had a purse (and not a satchel) were not charged at or questioned by a security guard. After I was questioned by the security guard, he took a few steps away, but remained standing in place to watch me. Yet, while I was being instigated by the security guard, the cashier was screwing up on ringing up my mother's purchase - the woman was going to leave the security tags on the clothing that she tossed into a bag, and my mother told the woman she needed to remove the tags from the clothing or else she would be making her (my mother) look like a thief upon trying to leave the store. In my opinion: I'm impressed this place managed to stay open for as long as it did, but I rank this as one of the worst retail stores in the Columbus area. I always thought that someone would sue them first. Not Friendly. Not Helpful. Not Cheap. Not Fitting Room Accessible. Not able to tell the difference between customer and thief! If I could rank below one star for this store, I wouldn't hesitate.
