I have managed retail for 40 years and worked with many contractors. This company goes above and beyond what I ever would have expected. They gutted everything out of a small bathroom Including the floor and replaced with walk-in shower, new toilet, and new vanity. I love it. We hired Lance to remodel our master bedroom. At first, the dream of saving this room looked very questionable. Before calling LM renovations, we attempted to steam the wallpaper off walls in our 1900 Victorian home, demolished plaster/lathe ceiling, pulled up carpet, etc. it wasn’t long after that we realized we were in over our heads. Lance was able to repair the walls that we had actually damaged from steaming the wallpaper, hung new drywall, creating a seamless product that we are absolutely in love with. Been trying to have them out to remodel a wall, build custom shelves, and install a new fireplace area since February, but they don't seem interested in actually working. Despite their professional claims and offer of "red carpet luxury renovation" treatment, they couldn't even manage professional scheduling. We never managed to have anything built because all I received was ghosting, rescheduling, and insults. If they are this unprofessional at the start, I can't imagine the horror I was just spared in using them to build anything. Very disappointing as we could have been on a capable companies waiting list the whole time instead and now have to start the process over. In their most recent no call no show, the self-proclaimed office manager responded with the following when I asked if this was the level of professionalism and competence I could expect from their company during the project: "Thanks for that rude message, ever think that people have emergencies? No I guess you haven't, my manager is a diabetic and her blood sugar level was acting up I had to drive her to urgent care sorry if I forgot to message you, good luck in future with your project good day". If she happens to read this, the response she would have received if she hadn't childishly blocked me from private messaging the companies page after her rant is that it is not rude to expect professional service from someone you're attempting to pay tens of thousands of dollars for renovations. Did you ever think that maybe your company is simply unprofessional? This is not the first time we've been forgotten. If someone in your office has an emergency, the professional process is to assign an individual to contact your appointments and let them know, or at the very least be accepting and professional when your ghosted customers are understandably upset. You'll find people want to be understanding, but ghosting your clients repeatedly and then attacking them when they're upset isn't likely to elicit that response. I hope your manager's health improves. Best of luck with your business.
