My experience living here was awful. The only good thing about living here was the rent in my opinion. First off when I first signed the lease they didn’t let us see the apartment. That was the first red flag. I guess they didn’t have any available to show but they could’ve kindly ask a resident who was already living there if we can come see the apartment. But I went and signed anyway. They finally had a apartment ready to show around April so I go and get the key when I first walked into the apartment it smells hot because there is no air conditioner but that didn’t bother me because you are allowed to bring your own. Then I continue to look around the kitchen. It is so small but it’s a good size for one person being in there at a time. The livingroom is a decent size as well. Going up the stairs I noticed that the stairs were dirty not dirty were you can clean it but dirty because people have been walking on them over the years and not cleaning them. For the two bedroom one bedroom is way smaller than the other one which annoys me. Mind you this isn’t the apartment I’m going to be living in for fall/spring of 2018/2019. There was something odd about the apartment but I couldnt get out the lease or I was going to have to pay $500. So August come everything’s fine I move in with my roommate. I noticed that these apartments are more for families so some nights I would here babies crying. But I didn’t really mind that. September comes around Im coming home from work tired I open the screen door and a big bug crawls under the crack under the door about the size of a thumb I unlocked the door and jump into the house and slammed the door shut heart pounding because I’m scared of bugs. But I go upstairs get my towel and head to the bathroom about to get in the shower before I get in the shower I always like to get the water right so I opened the curtain shower about to turn the water on then I see another bug about the size of my thumb but bigger at this point I’m trying to call my roommate and she’s not answering then I call campus view and they told me to call back in the morning because it wasn’t an emergency. So your telling me that if there is a human size cockroach in my apartment that’s not an emergency?🧐🧐 so I called the next morning they sent pest control out which they do every month for these apartments. So about two weeks go past I’m laying on my bed and see a smaller roach on the ceiling. At this point I’m ready to move I call them and say how can I move and they told me I can leave but I’m going to have to pay 60% of the remaining rent. Weird! I brought it up to them that in the contract in did not say I would have to live with bugs. I would still have to pay the rent if I leave they told me. So anyways i kept bothering them to let me leave but they didn’t and I continue to see roaches til this day at this point my parents are not rich so I have until May to live here. If you wanna live here do it at your own risk yes they have bugs no the pest control doesn’t work. Yes you will smell weed espically at around 2am- 3am. You get what you pay for. Also there is no internet which I didn’t know. On the website it says it does but that for the other apartments around it. Mechanics will come straight in if you don’t answer the door. I have many more complaints but I don’t want to spill all the tea move in at your own risk just like I had to. If anybody says it’s good they are probably lying just to get a roommate so they won’t have to pay the full amount. But they could be telling the trust maybe they don’t have bugs it could just be our neighbors. One of our neighbors do have a dog and the others neighbors have been living there for awhile so it could be them. Or it could be us I didn’t start seeing the bugs until my roommate got this couch from our neighbors it could be that but I don’t care anymore I’m ready to move. I tried and tried to leave but I’m not finna pay rent at two places. I don’t have it like that. Lesson learned.
