Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to take their young infant or toddler. Multiple play stations and areas, coupled with a kid-friendly cafe on the side and plenty of free parking make this a good stand-by for caregivers looking for rainy-day options in the northwest suburbs. And finally, don't miss out on the bottomless cup of coffee for those mornings when you just need to keep those lids up.

Good place for the kids to hang. Prices are above average, but fair. Great place to hang out. Great people.

Been there once. Probably not going back. For a place that is geared toward families with young children, we expected a lot more. It was a hot day, and we thought we'd try Nibbles Play Cafe to give our 2 children (ages 3 1/2 and 8 months) a different kind of play time. Upon entry, we were not welcomed with a friendly greeting. Just a "you need to sign in please." As I signed us in, the older lady behind the counter turns to my wife, asking for "the name" as if we, as first time visitors, were supposed to know the routine. There was no "Welcome!" or "Is this your first time here?" We were there to check the place out to see if it was a place we'd like, and just a few steps into the establishment, we were already having our doubts. Prior to visiting, we checked out the website, and there, of course, everything sounded great like, "clean toys" and "a baby room off with a gate." Well, one, the toys weren't that clean and two, there was no gate to the baby room. Not having a gate to the baby room led to my 8 month old getting her hand stepped on by a young girl, probably age 3 or 4, who I assume was the daughter of the owner. I also found it interesting that the lady, who I assume to be the owner, was not very hospitable. And I also noticed that while her children sat and ate nicely at a small table, she was on her (what looked like an) iPad WITH HER BACK TO HER CHILDREN! You can't help but notice these things when you're a first time guest at an establishment like this, especially if you're the type that not only takes your child to a place like this to play, but also, plays and interacts with your children. Perhaps, if they had known from the moment we stepped in the door that we were first time guests, they could have at least faked everything. We concluded we wouldn't be back anytime soon. Still, we do love the concept behind Nibbles cafe, which is not entirely original. We just won't be back with our patronage.
