As we help our children cope with what has become the new normal of COVID, Cherubim continues to be the rock and bright light for our children. Ann (the director) continues to provide engaging and enriching activities. When Illinois first shut down, Ann adapted and provided daily ZOOM meetings. She and her staff drove from house to house delivering learning kits for each student. When Day Programs were allowed to re-open, Ann took great steps to assure the safety of the students, staff and families. Although Cherubim has yet to return to their full schedule of volunteering and scheduled outings, we couldn't be happier. Our daughter looks forward to going to program daily. It is the love and dedication that Ann has put into the program that makes it the success that it is. 2 years ago: Cherubim has been a life saver. Ann and her staff continue to be nurturing, caring and loving. They show all participants love and compassion. Our daughter volunteers three days a week, has access to the community and goes to work out 3-4 days a week. The participants also work to keep academic skills taught while attending school. Our daughter looks forward to attending Cherubim and the friends she has made there are no longer just friends, they are family. We cannot say enough wonderful things regarding this program and the director, Ann.
