Not sure when motel 6 converted to hotel 7 but it's all the same feel as the motel 6, mediocre room, reasonable rates but nothing to write home about.

We stayed here for four years, but not again. We kept our annual reservation booked upon departure from previous year, but this year they chose not to honor our price and more than tripled our rate. I understand things change, but the last minute changes ruined our annual trip. We were like family with the staff, even offered the housekeeper a ride home when roads were icey, didnt get upset last year when three mice ran amuck upstairs. The quality of our stay was price appropriate. You have just lost a consistent customer, heartbreaking for us.

I wanted a location near the Tunnel Hill State Park, and it's about a mile down the road. The place could be a little cleaner outside, but the rooms and lobby are clean. The manager Corrinne, was excellent, very informative and helpful.
