The owners of both locations skipped town and closed down both business and stole everyone's deposit money. Last I heard they went back to Nebraska.  They also file bankruptcy so I feel bad fir all the customers that lost their money to them.

My wife and I trusted Direct Floors with $20,000 and the outcome of our condo renovation project.  They took the money from Synchrony Bank, never delivered the flooringeven though the materials sat unpaid in an Addison warehouse, tried to pickup the order without paying for it and were denied, and lied on multiple occassions about what was going on - finally blaming the flooring manufacturer for all the problems and stating the order was in Michigan still.  The next day they went dark and continue to be unreachable to date.  Today they hide behind the cover of lies and financial problems and will probably come out of the situation whole and doing business as another company - taking money and lying to other unsuspecting individuals who are foolish enough to place their trust and project with then.  Good luck if you trust a company like this.  It is a shame that companies like this can exist and flourish today - this also goes for their apparent owners:  Anderson Tile and Flooring in Spring Grove, IL.  The only people hurt here are a reputable banking institution, my contractor, and my family but people like this don't worry about others they only care about themselves.  Hopefully they read this and do what is right but I am not holding my breathe.  What a shame.

Do not work with this company. The lack of communication alone plus the inability to plan out a project effectively and deliver on a timeline should have you looking for someone else to complete your project. This company tells you they can do that and sure we can but never once came out to plan properly or deliver on a timeline. 3 months later we are working with someone else to finish the work they started. If you read reviews they are from over a year ago when the company was under different ownership and it might have been fine then- but now that they have someone in charge that knows nothing about construction or phased planning I would not sign an agreement with them.

My wife and I were referred to Chris and Megan by some family members who were also looking to get a new floor. Chris impressed us on the first visit and we hit it off from the start. In fact, we didn't even shop around because we knew we wanted to do business with Chris. We had selected a luxury vinyl product because of the durability and lifespan, which Chris agreed it would be the best way to go, since we have a dog and two young children. To make a long story short, the product began to shift beneath our feet and pieces of the floor were popping up, so we were not happy with the initial install. After speaking with Chris, he informed us that the product ended up being defective and the manufacturer had issued a recall. We ended up having to select a new product and have the floor completely replaced. I am writing this review because, even though the process was not as seamless as we had initially hoped for, I understand that mistakes happen, but what truly matters is how a company can be accountable to challenges that arise and to handle them with integrity, which is exactly what Chris Anderson and his team are all about. They are a family owned business who put their customers first and I would be happy to refer friends and family to them in the future. In this day and age where so many businesses are struggling and customer service isn't always the top priority, Chris, Megan and the Anderson Team will not stop until you are 100% satisfied with the job. Thank you Chris, Megan, Seth and the rest of the team. We absolutely love our new floor and we are so happy we went with Anderson Flooring & Tile!

I selected Anderson Flooring & Tile after many glowing reviews on Facebook and here on Google to install LVP in the lower level of my townhome. My experience was less than I had hoped for based on the reivews. My sales person was great, I felt confident with his information and recommendations. However, after that things went downhill. The scheduling of the material drop off and installation was a total mess. I was told my installation was to be done on a Wednesday and they would contact me to arrange the drop off of materials beforehand. I made arrangments to take off work, get my dog out of the house, have my washer/dryer and hot water heater removed to be ready for the installation on Wednesday. At about 5 the evening before - literally as the hot water heater was being drained, they called to say they would be delivering the materials on Wednesday - not installing them, the installation was on Friday. Fine, reshuffled everything to have the delivery on Wednesday and installation on Friday. So I sit at home all day Wednesday waiting for my delivery. I was told the materials would be there before noon. At about 2:30 or 3 I call to find out where my materials were. Let me check and call you back. An hour goes by, no call. I call again, now about4pm. Oh, the delivery guy got hung up somewhere and won't be able to make it until about 6pm. (would have been nice to know earlier in the day so I didn't sit around and wait the whole day) And, by the way, can we do the install tomorrow instead of Friday? No, I needed to go to work on Thursday and had everything scheduled for Friday. So they make me feel bad for not being able to do the install on Thursday, but I just couldn't do it. Then they say they can't deliver the materials on Wednesday evening, too busy. So I get a call apologizing and they will deliver the materials on Friday morning before the installers get there and it will all be good. Doesn't the material have to acclimate to my house? Nooo, it is the same temp in the warehouse as your house and it will all be fine. Installers arrive Friday morning, no materials. They sit around for about an hour + waiting for materials. The installers did not have great things to say about the company as a whole (they were subcontractors). The installers did a good job overall. However, a couple of days later I went to the lower level (where the flooring was installed) and discovered that the rechargable battery for my Milwaukee drill was missing. I literally left a handful of things sitting out, that was one of them. I know, my bad, but really? Not another sole was in my house from the time the floors were installed and I discovered the missing battery. There are only 2 places that battery lives, in the drill or in the charger. It was gone. I reached out to Anderson about this. Obviously, I have no proof, but I know they took the battery. I didn't even get the courtesy of a response from them. I would just say, be aware of absolutely horrible communication and planning of times and deliveries. And don't leave anything worth anything sitting out. After the initial sales visit, the whole experience was a disappointment. I will never use or recommend them again.
