I have been here Three Times now and the Three People I talked to are VERY nice! Also the first time, forgot Her Name, recommended a Loose Tea strainer of some kind and I have been enjoying loose leaf Tea since then! Also I LOVE the selection they have!

Poor service + aggressive sales staff+ retail pricing = not likely to return. If you are thinking of stopping at the Teavana location here - stop and think again. There is an Argo as well as a Starbucks that may offer a better experience than we had today. My daughter was interested in a nice tea. She went into the store and asked one of the clerks for a specific tea. Trevor J asked if she was 'sure' she wanted the tea she mentioned. She confirmed with him that yes, this is the tea she wants. While getting the tea, he went through a series of up-sells suggesting complimentary teas and store merchandise. That is fine and expected at a retail shop but he kept challenging her for add ons even when she clearly said no. The situation turned post-able when he rang up the transaction. Trevor kept adding product driving up the sale. As the loose tea was being added the sale showed $12.75. She said good but he kept adding product driving the cost up to $14.93. When challenged about the price going up Trevor said the he'd just added a bit more. Two things for Teavana management to consider: When the customer says no - she means no. By continuing your up-sell all your doing at this point is irritating the customer. Seriously, when a young lady says no to your up-sells, stop the hard sell. For that matter, when anybody says quit it, then listen. Finally, the whole 'adding product' drive up the price thing is really bad show. Your tea is good but not worth dealing with a clerk who isn't listening. If the store management would like to discuss the matter, please send me a private message.
