I haven't been to this place yet but I have an appointment here, they checked up on me to confirm my appointment and told me to come early for paperwork. I hope they can fix my pelvic girdle pain I received as a result of pregnancy. I'll update my review after my first appointment.

I want to be very clear upfront that this review doesn't pertain to the wonderful physical therapists that have been helping me with my serious balance issues. Both Tom and Maggie are superior physical therapists, very caring, knowledgeable and skilled. This has to do with every other person who works in the office, including the front desk staff (Angelica, very condescending) and especially their office manager. The actions of the staff and the office manager have severely impacted my health & slowed down my progress. When I started physical therapy, I was in very serious condition and had just experienced a very bad fall, bad concussion and my head was bleeding, and I had five staples in my head that were just removed. After visiting an inner ear specialist and neurologist, I was recommended physical therapy because I was diagnosed with BPPV and vestibular migraines, both balance problems which could improve with regular physical therapy. When I scheduled my visits with the office manager, I stressed that the doctor wanted me to get in quickly and regularly have 2 visits weekly, and since I worked at home, I asked for times that would coordinate with my schedule and when my husband to drive me after work since I was not able to drive with the balance issues. . I could come anytime in the evenings and also anytime on Friday, and since they had evening hours until eight and Friday hours until six I decided to make my appointments two months ahead of time. I go to my initial evaluation, and I find out that she did not book those appointments that we agreed upon , so I had to wait another couple weeks to even get in for regular therapy. I had severe vertigo attacks almost fell again. I was very distressed and called the office manager expecting to get an apology, but instead she was combative told me we never made any appointments and even told me if I didn't like it , I can go elsewhere!! I did not want to go elsewhere because this location and therapists specialize in vertigo, and not a lot of places specialize in vertigo, and my neurologist recommended this place. At that point, I started to cry but then I got angry and I said, you know what? I'm going to be calling patient relations at Alexian Brothers and reporting you since you are hampering my progress and affecting my health negatively . Well then she backed down, because she knew she was wrong or rather maybe she just didn't want to get caught bullying a patient. We then scheduled therapy appointments, and they were going pretty smoothly for awhile. Until about a month ago, when I was supposed to go in on a Wednesday and they told me an appointment was not made. The appointment was made, and it was on my schedule that they printed out. But she argued with me more, and I actually had to wait almost 2 weeks for my next therapy session because the next week was not scheduled according to her. I asked to be put on a waiting list so that I could get additional appointments, since I was supposed to go at least twice a week. Well towards the end of the next week, I get a call from my therapist saying oh you were supposed to come in are you coming in today? I looked at that schedule they printed out and there was nothing on there for that date. Apparently someone put me on the schedule from the waiting list but did not call me. I complained about this, and brushed it off as a one time mistake , but guess what? Just yesterday I get another call from my therapist where she thought I was supposed to come in yesterday but they put me on the schedule without even calling me !! Right now, I feel this is harassment and manipulation by the office manager. I love my therapist and plan on continuing, but I will now be reporting the situation to Alexian Patient relations. I have a copy of the last print out that they gave me, and there was no Wednesday appointment on there nor is there anything on my call log showing that they attempted to call me to schedule that appointment that I supposedly missed, because they never contacted me with the appointment.
