My 91 year old mother how dies 8-24-2020 had ATT phone and tv (144000431), and here is the problem They set her up with auto pay and when she moved from her place at Castle towers to Conrad on jun1 we tried to call for her as she could not do it. but were told that she had to call and talk to them. we even went to the corp. store in Elmhurst and ask them to see if they could help but again the said call this number. well to finish this off AT&T kept charging her even after she died the services for a phone and tv that was not being use as it was not moved with her and phone line was dead. nothin like getting it from a dead horse i guess. She was blind and on Hospit care when she moved as she could not get around anymore and a nurse came weekly to see her. I know she could have used the $188.00 monthly payment for something else excep to pay for something she did not receive.

Google reviews will not let us choose 0 stars as a review, 1 star is too many. As a 5 year customer of At&t internet, I decided to choose them over Comcast when we moved to our new house. The internet connection was lost 4 days ago, it cuts in and out 3 times a day, sometimes down for 12 hours. Customer service dispatched crews, crew members gave us different answers each time. First tech said the "entire network line is faulted underwater up to the next At&t hub", The tech yesterday said it was "all fixed," 20 minutes later the receiver again lost its network line connection. Today there's 4 trucks in front of our house, and still no fix. I get that lines go down and repairs take time, problem is that when we call At&t customer service, it's listed as "repaired and complete" IT'S NOT for the 4th time, there is not any crews working to fix the network line, and my children have had 2 days "missed attendance" because they cannot log on to e-Learning. This is a public backed utility, are mandated to maintain critical connections. Especially in e-Learning, in the public's/customer's eyes, no different than Nicor or Comed.

No fault on behalf of the employees; the company at large is CORRUPT and cares ONLY for higher profits - NOTHING ELSE matters to them. I was charged $100 for a device to enhance my Wi-Fi signal which upon testing we(the technician and us) noticed no improvement whatsoever and hence not ordering/taking it. NONETHELESS, when I received my bill, in April 2020, I was charged $99 plus a late fee of $9.25!! btw. A quick glance at the seemingly 5-star ratings show a pattern of 1-2 review users/customers. BEWARE!!!
