Lots of fond memories, biking over from Brittany Lane when a kid in the 50s and 60s ... and since ... even when just visiting back in Rock Island.
Mom loved being a library volunteer for some years.

I have visited here many times in the last 18 years. They have a computerized way of finding what book you are looking for. They have an enclosed room with windows for childrens books.y They have a computer room with 4 computers that you can reserve or take your chances with waiting.The librarian on duty has always been helpful with computer problems or finding anything. It costs to have something printed out or copied. When you first come in, there is a room to the left where you can buy coffee, cookies and old books. At the back of the library are 2 comfy recliners for reading. You can also borrow videos, magazines, newspapers. The separate men and womens bathrooms are clean and lockable. You can also request something needed within the libraries district partners. Please note the times of openings and closures as it changes.
