Fruth Construction built our custom home in Brellinger subdivision in Columbia, IL. The entire process from our initial meeting until the final day of construction was a smooth process. Alex is very thorough throughout the building process and fair with pricing. You won’t find another builder in the area on the price per square foot with the quality he provides. He was very upfront if we went over our spending allowance and we could decide if we wanted to proceed. There were also no hidden charges on the final bill, which we had heard horror stories about with other builders. He keeps you updated on next steps so you know what needs to be picked out next. Another positive is that Alex is very quick to respond whether it’s by email or text. We’ve been in our home for almost 2 and a half years and Alex still answers questions we may have. Our dogs chewed up some places in the house and Alex sent his guy out to fix them immediately! We highly recommend Fruth Construction and would use them again if we ever build another home. Top notch construction and service!

Fruth Construction built our home in Red Bud in 2020 and it turned out to be everything we envisioned it to be. From the beginning, Alex and his team took the time to sit down and go through all the details of building our custom home. Their promptness, attention to detail, and customer service was impeccable throughout the building process. Our home is stunning and looking back we wouldn’t have gone with another builder. We highly recommend Fruth Construction!

Fruth built our forever home and we couldn’t be happier! Alex is up on all the current trends and nailed everything we wanted. Super responsive when we had questions or issues that we needed to figure out- it didn’t matter if it was 8:00 a.m. on a Monday or 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. Extremely easy to work with. Highly recommend. We would use Fruth construction if we ever build again.

We did not take building a home lightly. We interviewed several area builders and knew from the moment we met with Alex & Fruth Construction he was going to be the perfect fit. His professionalism, responsiveness and experience is second to none. Alex sits down with you through several consultations to really understand your vision for your home and make sure you understand exactly where your money is going. Line by Line. This was huge for us. Throughout the build process he was always available for questions and advice and never made you feel like you were a bother. Him, his team & all of his subcontractors were outstanding. Extremely friendly and meticulous in their trades. Honestly, there isn't a thing we regret. We are so thrilled to be in our new home and couldn't be happier with our experience. If you are looking to build a home... look no further, I promise, Alex is the man for the job!
