Disappointed with our experience with this breeder. We recently purchased a puppy from them for a premium price. A couple puppies were being treated for bacterial skin infections at the time of pickup (pyoderma) but we were assured it wasn’t contagious, which was definitely a concern of ours. Sure enough, a couple of days after pickup we noticed some sores and brought her to the vet who confirmed she had the same bacterial skin infection. So we started off with a large vet bill, antibiotics, and a few weeks of medicated shampoo. When I contacted the breeder regarding our experience, we found her response to be very rude and defensive. We expected more when paying such a premium price.

We picked up our puppy on may 2 2021. Great experience, beautiful puppy. He’s growing into a wonderful dog. Highly recommend Glennda and Simpsons!

I definitely did my research on Labrador breeders in Illinois and Wisconsin before reaching out. From the very first response I received from Glennda, I could tell that she runs the business professionally and that they are a reputable breeder. I especially appreciated Glennda’s willingness to answer my questions and how timely she was in communicating information about the litter. We brought home our pup at the beginning of May and our little guy has been the biggest blessing. He is healthy, handsome, intelligent, and a wonderful product of the strong breeding lines and care provided at Simpson’s. We are proud to recommend Simpson’s Labrador Retrievers to anyone who asks!

Going with Simpson's Labrador Retrievers is a no brainer for anybody hoping to add an incredible four legged companion to their family. Glennda and Luke were quick to answer any questions we had, always kept us updated, and provided a great overall experience. We were able to view pictures and videos of the individual puppies throughout their growth and learn about their unique personalities as they developed. When picking up our new pup, we were welcomed into Luke and Glennda's home, everything was organized to a T, and we left with handsome healthy pup and a goodie bag for our journey home. At the end of the day they are hard working and honest people, I highly recommend Simpson's Labrador Retrievers.

19 years ago, completely by accident, I inherited a nine month old black lab mix that I really didn’t want because I drive an 18 wheeler. After a little time and some adjustments Max and I eventually became best friends and inseparable. Unfortunately dogs don’t live very long and a little shy of 15 years of age Max passed away. I didn’t think I ever wanted to experience that pain again and thought I might not get another dog, but after only 1 trip out without Max I realized, I couldn’t live happily without the companionship of a dog so I started looking. I wasn’t sure what bread or if I wanted a rescue or a dog from a breeder. I looked everywhere, and finally decided I needed to buy a puppy from a reputable breeder. The problem was I really didn’t know how to find a reputable breeder. Someone, actually another breeder, recommended I check out Simpson’s Labrador Retrievers, and I’m glad I did. I fell in love with Hershey, a dark Chocolate Lab. He was perfect, but I didn’t know much about the Simpsons. I did see that they were rated by the AKC as a breeder that does all the medical background on their dogs before the breed them and I liked what I saw when I visited their facility. They were large enough to breed quality dogs and small enough to not be a puppy mill, but it’s really more about what I have learned since I got Hershey that impresses me so much. They really care about these dogs so much after they are placed in homes and they work hard to stay in touch with all of them. When you choose a puppy from Simpsons you become part of a really big extended family! Also I know that the Simpson’s will always be there, whether it’s just to answer a question or anything more serious, I can always reach out to them for help. I’m sure that there are many good breeders out their and , unfortunately, many more bad ones, but the Simpson’s have proven to be among the most elite by the way they keep up with every one of their pups and the way they conduct business and the way they take care of their own dogs and the extensive knowledge they have accumulated over the years. Admittedly, I was a little naive about breeders and found Simpson’s Labrador Retrievers by accident, but I could never have found a better breeder no matter how much research I did. I just got lucky, very, very lucky and now because of it I get a huge supply of Hershey kisses every day!!!
